Is it possible to inject once CSGO has already launched?

Can I inject the client once CSGO has already launched or does it have to be before the game is open?

You will have to inject when the game is NOT running.

You are however able to inject while game open if you really want to but it's not advised.
You can inject while game open if you make shortcut of your injector, right click the injector and go to properties and put "-insecure" at the end of the launch options.

If it isn't possible to inject once the game is already running, is it even possible to use this client for ESEA/FACEIT? Since they launch the game separately, does the injection even work?

Project infinity is an external cheat. Instead of executing code inside the game's process, project infinity actually starts a process itself with the code already injected. I have never tried loading it inside ESEA/FACEIT but you can test by doing the following:

1) Start the cheat.
2) Sign in.
3) Press inject.
4) Instead of starting the cheat via steam, try starting it via ESEA/FACEIT.
