It's not a virus, they wouldn't make any money from selling a virus to users. And if the free version was a virus, it wouldn't give people the desire to buy the paid one.

I'm not sure about running it without anti-virus , i have McAfee anti-virus and it's stopping it from running every time saying virus detected ...etc

It comes as false positive because the file is heavily encrypted, anti-viruses don't like this.
