So do I have to inject every single time before starting CS:GO? The menu seems to not appear anymore after reopening the game unless I inject it again.

Hello, you indeed do have to inject every time you want to play Counter-Strike: Global Offensive.

I've gone ahead and guessed a parameter in the Project Infinity Launcher and it allows us to inject while the game is running.
If you create a shortcut of the Project Infinity Launcher, click on properties and at the end of Target, add -insecure like this.

Hello, the launcher will be wherever you have downloaded it. Most likely you will find it in your Downloads folder.
Try re-downloading it and going from there if you're having trouble finding the launcher.

(It may also be on your USB Stick / Pen Drive if that's what you're using).

It could be possible you're missing a redist or have a corrupted one. Try downloading this: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=48145.

If you can, please could you send a screenshot of the error message and share your In-Game settings & Launch Parameters?
